Straightforward work can stay close to the matter. Appropriate production can move to trained support staff. Specialized work can still go to professional drafters.

Direct capability is more useful when attorneys, agents, support staff, and outside resources are not each working in completely different ways.

Law firms will continue to collaborate with inventors, support teams, professional drafters, and other specialists. Those handoffs can be valuable.
